Strats
The finance brain behind JAVAN but with a creative flair, Strats is an Aussie with years of experience in international banking and investments. He spent 14 years in Singapore, where he built a successful startup before turning his focus to Indonesia. A long-time lover of the country, he once called Jakarta home, speaks Indonesian, and has been to Bali more times than he would admit. Now based in Melbourne, he swaps suits for the startup, working to bring one focal point for trading bikes with simple transparency in Indonesia.

Simon
Simon, the Frenchman (and, let’s be honest, probably the cooler of the two), has spent the last 2 decades growing Tech businesses of various sizes, including Google, Expedia and a few start-ups in Singapore. He has dabbled in Sales, Marketing, Product & Data, but his real passion lies in Karaoke. He was raised on croissants in France but has called Singapore home for the last 15 years. His LinkedIn says “Angel Investor” — we are not sure how accurate the angel part is, but he is a top bloke.
Together, they’re building something that puts buyers and sellers first, empowering them with propriety algorithms to get the best deal on their bike.

Maria
Maria is our eyes and ears on the ground and Campaign Manager. She is from Yogyakarta, and quietly makes sure Strats and and Simon’s wild marketing ideas don’t spiral into chaos (yes, including the one with the human-sized Javan Eagle). After years in Jakarta’s agency world, she brings calm, clarity, and just enough sarcasm to keep this startup moving forward.
Natasha
Every good business needs someone who knows how to make it look, feel, and sound amazing — that’s where Natasha comes in. An Indonesian with a global streak, she’s lived and worked around the world, bringing big-brand energy to both international giants and local legends. With a background in communications, she advises JAVAN on all things strategy, branding, and customer experience ensuring everything has that perfect balance of substance and style. Strategic. Aesthetic. Unapologetically local.
